WELCOME TO Digital Manufacturing Innovation Hub Wales (DMIW)

Digital Manufacturing Innovation Hub Wales (DMIW) based in Bridgend, South Wales. Is a non-profit organisation, working and investing in creating connectivity for Small and Medium Enterprises Across Europe.

DMIW is based in Waterton Technology Centre which is a building housing a fully operational test facility for Industry 4.0 Experimentation. It is supported by Ford Motor Company and has many links to other manufacturing businesses and supply chains with particular influence and emphasis on Control Systems.

DiHCS will work just like any other similar organisation bridging the gap between Academic research and Commercialisation of products and services, identifying relevant fundamental research being undertaken in Welsh Universities and beyond, including UK and Europe and how this can be translated into practical applications.

The DiHCS will Develop Working practices and demonstrations of Control Systems in the Context of Industry 4.0

  • Cardiff University are working with Control 2K to develop Artificial Intelligence in Robotics and Control Systems
  • Ford are working with Several Universities on ground breaking areas
  • Develop Systems Engineers required in all fields of Automation and Digital Engineering
