European Digital Innovation Hubs

The European catalogue of DIHs, launched by the European Commission, is an online repository that includes more than 450 existing hubs across Europe. This tool was designed by the Joint Research Centre and was set up to help companies get access to the competences needed in order to digitise their products and services.

You can find out more about the expertise available and how to access it, by searching the Platform here.

DIH4CPS - Digital Innovation Hubs for Cyber-Physical Systems

The DIH4CPS programme  'Fostering DIHs for Embedding Interoperability in Cyber-Physical Systems of European SMEs'  was initiated to help European enterprises overcome innovation hurdles and establish Europe as a world leading innovator of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.  The H2020 programme has created an embracing, interdisciplinary network of DIHs and solution providers, focussed on cyber-physical and embedded systems, sharing knowledge and technologies from different domains and connecting regional clusters with a pan-European expert pool of Digital Innovation Hubs.

The DIH4CPS Portal has been established to act as a directory for the DIHs in the network and as a tool for regional businesses to use to find specific skills and competencies to support their innovation development. This portal has now been launched and can be found here: DIH4CPS Portal Login.

DIH2 (DIH Squared)

DMIW is also part of the DIH2, a pan-European network of robotics DIHs for Agile Production. The focus of this network is to use the power of robotics to transform the agility of manufacturing in Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and drive economic growth across the European Union. Local robot days and online tools are used to provide essential connections between local SMEs and the robotics community. The DIH portal contains useful information about the programme and its resources, plus many SME tools for learning, development and support. Visit the portal here: DIH2 Portal Login

UK Networks

Within the UK there are a number of resources available to businesses, many of which form part of larger consortia and Competence Centres (Catapults), as well as innovation and capacity building programmes delivered through Universities. We have catalogued a number of useful services for our clients and started to map these resources  - our interactive Service Map will be live shortly, watch this space!
